## About Skip the Salad
Skip the Salad is a trick-AVOIDING card game: the goal is to LOSE the right tricks, not win them. Each round has a specific thing to avoid collecting, with a points penalty:
- No Tricks (+10 per trick), No Tomatoes (+10 per tomato), No Queens (+25 per queen), No Onions (+10 per onion, +100 King of Onions), No Last Trick (+100), plus optional rounds (No Kings, No Assassins, No Royalty, No Evens, No High Low).
- The final Tossed Salad round applies every penalty at once.
- Lowest total score wins. (The optional Cornucopia variant flips it so the highest score wins.)
- Optional "Toppings" (Rotten Tomato, Spicy Pepper, Pass the Veggies, Blue Cheese Moon, Cornucopia, Salad Dressing) add extra rules and strategy.
- A free companion app for iOS and Android keeps score and lets you play digitally, and the game is free to play in the browser.
